Antenna

Was showering Vincy the other day and I realised her hair was rather long, so the mischievous mummy tried to put all her hair up.
Looked like an antenna to me.

Jump

Vincy is learning how to jump now. She jumps with one leg. Cannot lift both legs up and jump yet. She was happily demonstrating to us how to jump in Early Learning Centre the other day.

Marina Barrage again

We went kite flying with the Lees at Marina Barrage again yesterday. This round, I managed to take pictures. We had ice cream first before we started kite flying.
As daddy went to toilet, mummy had a go at kite flying. In less than 5 minutes, my kite was soaring high up in the sky. So kite flying wasn't that difficult after all. Ha ha!
After the kite was up in the sky, I passed it to Clarence.
The marina barrage is really a good place to fly kite with strong wind and nice view around except it is too crowded, thus you got to be very careful with your kite cos the string may get entangled with other kites'strings.
Clarence even sat down on a mat that Auntie Jaslyn brought to fly his kite. He said it was more relaxing this way.

My little darling wondering around, keeping herself busy.

After a while, Clarence asked his daddy to bring down the kite and try to fly it again. So my boss obliged and flew the kite up again later. After the kite was up, he called Clarence to go and take over but Clarence refused.

Actually the kids were not really keen in flying kites. Ryan ended up playing with his mummy's handphone games while the adults were busy flying kites.

I love this picture. Gor gor hugging his little meimei. This picture will be my blog's cover photo next time.

Took a family picture before we left.

Morning fun

We woke up late today and my boss suggested bringing the kids to T3 for breakfast and slide.
Breakfast at Ya Kun:

Followed by sliding fun:

Vincy did not meet the minimum height requirement so she can only watch us slide.

Waiting for his turn:

Mummy and Clarence went down the slide twice.
Before we left, we took the big hippo car in the carpark.

Meimei did not want to sit, she was scared of the huge hippo. She sat aside and enjoyed her lollipop.

My dear bought these in T3 to cook chicken rice for us. He says he is confident of cooking chicken rice and the chicken. Rice should not be a problem but the chicken......
Well, we will be his guinea pigs.

Yummy

We had an expensive and yummy dinner tonight at Crystal Jade Golden Palace at Paragon. We went there to eat because the restaurant recently garnered the Asiaone People's choice 2009 Awards for the top chinese restaurant. The deco was good and most important food was really yummy!

Vicny enjoyed the crackers most.

We ordered Sharks fin, suckling pig, peking duck and soon hock fish.

Initially, Clarence told us not to order sharks fin cos he learnt about shark hunting in school and he told us to save the animals. But sorry son, mummy really loves sharks fin. When the sharks fin was served, we gave him a little bowl and he happily ate it all up. So contradicting! After that, I asked him if he still want to save the animal, he said no. Guess too yummy for him too.

Bicycle

Today is the last day of my holiday. Sob sob!
So I decided to be a "good" mummy. I picked Clarence from school at 1pm and went to buy a bicycle with him.
He was very surprised to see me and he was very excited when he knew I wanted to buy a 2 wheel bicycle for him. He is very keen to learn cos some of his friends already knew how to ride a 2 wheel bicycle (peer pressure?).
We went downstairs to practice for about 10 minutes. Did not want to stress him and myself out for the first time, afraid it may kill his interest. Furthermore, it is very tiring for me to hold on his shoulders while he is trying to get his balance all the time. I told him we will practice again some other day.

Cannot resist

I went to Compass Point library to return books just now. Since there was still a little bit of time before I need to go and pick Clarence, I went into Fox to see. I really meant to go in and just see and spend some extra time there but I bought something in the end.
There is a 30% sale and with UOB card, I get another 15% more discount, so I bought a swimsuit for Vincy again. Yes, swimming costume AGAIN! Cannot resist the temptation.
Got my little model to put on her new swimming costume and take pictures!

Out of curiosity, I went to check in my cupboard and guess how many sets of swimming costumes Vincy has?
She has 14 sets! All thanks to her crazy mummy! Even I dun have so many sets from baby till now. And she is not 2 years old yet.
Next question, does she wear all? Yes, so far all has been worn to the pool except this one and another set.
My dear may faint after reading this post, Hee! Dun faint, dear, cos the number will still increase.

Class Photo

Mummy scanned all Clarence's class photos taken in his childcare.

Throw

Our kids like to play this game in the arcade:

Madness throwing!
Boss and my comments are always the same, Clarence is a liability more than a help in the game.

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day in Zoo. Mummy made booking for Jungle Breakfast with Wildlife and treated my dear to a father's day breakfast.
My buffet breakfast:

The anxious kids waiting for the arrival of the orang utans.

Here they come:

A naughty orang utan roamed down instead of joining the rest. Mummy took the opportunity to take picture of Clarence with it.

I paid $20 for this picture:

Why did I pay for the picture? Because the one the attendant took for us was not sharp at all, this was another one taken with my camera: (see the big difference?)

Close encounter with the snake. Clarence stroke the snake.

Vincy was so sad when the Orang Utans left. She cried and cried.

After a heavy breakfast, we went for 2 shows. Rainforest fights back and Splash Safari. It has been more than a year since we last caught the shows in the Zoo. Clarence was kissed by the sea lion after the show and he touched the sea lion's fins too.
Picture taking with the Pelican.

I was a bit disappointed with the Jungle breakfast cos we were not allowed to have close interaction with the orang utan. I thought we can shake hands or something like that......
Luckily I only paid for 2 of us. Clarence and Vincy are below five so it is free for them.
But the kids enjoy the company of the orang utans, especially Vincy.
Happy Father's Day to my dear.
