Science Centre Trip

We went to Science Centre today. Our first stop was Water works as the sky looked dark and we were afraid it might rain in the afternoon.

When we took a break and came out for lunch later, it was raining heavily. We were so glad we made the right decision to visit Water works first. Yea!

Felt rather eerie just looking at the pictures.

We came upon a shocker electric chair in one of the halls. So I sent the 2 naughty boys to the chair. Ha!

Boss paid $1 to experience the shocker electric chair. He chose the low voltage mode.

Interview with boss about his experience: The voltage increase gradually and his hands felt numb. He could not release his hands from the chair during the process. 还钱受罪 was his overall conclusion. He offered me a dollar to try out the chair but I politely declined.
Before we left, we saw a booth for kids to decorate paper butterfly. Clarence was keen to try and he really concentrated and spent some time to decorate his butterfly. After he has finished, the lady at the booth pasted 2 little metal rings at the back of his butterfly and presto, he could balance the butterfly on one finger.

According to my boss, the proper name for the metal rings should be called washer. (dun know how true).

We spent half a day at the Science Centre and had a great time there. Although the exhibits were a bit 'chim' for Clarence to understand, I think he still enjoyed himself there.
