Ballet

I told Vincy sometime ago I will be signing her up for ballet class. Since last week, she has been asking me when will she be attending class. She asked me after I picked her from school.
"Am I going to ballet class?" She has been bugging me to bring her for ballet class.
Yesterday, we went to sign her up. After we parked the car, she said," I need to go for ballet class."
I clarified with her and told her we were just registering her, she cannot start the class yet.
After signing her up, I was deciding when to start, so I asked her whether she want to start next week or after we come back from holiday. Her answer: START NOW!
She is so enthusiastic about her ballet class.

After reaching home, I regretted not getting the ballet bag for her. All daddy's fault, asked me not to buy first. Will definetly go back and buy the bag.

Pink

After picking Clarence from school today, we went for lunch and shopping in Junction 8. Clarence was bored waiting for me but I was so happy buying things for myself and Vincy.
Things I bought for Vincy today:

Hello Kitty water bottle, sunglasses, visor, pencil case (shorts), hello kitty pouch and a watch. Except for the pouch, the rest of the stuff are pink in colour. Her favourite colour is pink. She likes everything in pink.
She likes the things I bought for her today:

I put 2 pencils in the shorts pencil case but Vincy took them out cos she wanted to wear the shorts. Faint!

Hip hop starts

Clarence's Wushu enrichment class stopped last week. This week, he started his Hip hop dance enrichment during PE. The song he is dancing to in school is "Everybody dance now". Some steps he learnt on his first lesson:

Kick the habit

Vincy has successfully kick her finger sucking habit since Chinese New Year till now, all thanks to nail polish. I applied nail polish for her for CNY and told her she if she suck her fingers, her nail polish will drop so my vain girl did not suck her fingers for the sake of being pretty. Ha ha.
The other day when I went to Face shop, she came up to me and tell me her nail polish has dropped and she requested me to buy new ones for her. So vain! My dear always complains that Vincy is so vain because of me.

Vincy told me her teachers in school told her no nail polish, so I asked if she want me to remove the nail polish, her reply was NO!

花拳绣腿

When I asked Clarence how was his Wushu class yesterday, he happily told me he was good at it. He said he was one of the 4 chosen from his class to demonstrate to the whole class and the coach asked him for his name and register number and ticked his name. I asked him why the coach ticked his name, he wasn't sure too.

Ha ha, a bit 花拳绣腿! Actually my lazy boy does not really like Wushu cos he thinks it is too tiring. But I could tell from his expression he was proud to be asked to demonstrate in class.

Gathering

We were invited to Auntie Zann's place on the 4th day of Chinese New Year. Clarence could meet up with his kindergarten friends and had a lot of fun playing with them.

Even Vincy took a gun and ran around shooting with the gors gors and jies jies.

The parents also took the opportunity to chit chat and relax while the kids played on their own.

Chinese New Year Day 2

Day 2, off we went to my Uncle's place. Bought Vietnam clothes for my kids to wear on that day.

Played manjong and card games there as usual. My boss managed to recoup some losses that day.

But we forgot to take a family picture for Chinese New Year. :(

Chinese New Year Day 1

We went to my brother in law's place in the morning and directly to my mum's place after that. Vincy knew how to call everybody by their names this year and say 恭喜发财 to everyone.

The most popular person that day had to be my dear. He was the Santa Clause! He was the banker giving out money to our relatives!

While I was playing manjong in the room, I heard Clarence crying. He cried because he knew his daddy was losing money and daddy told him no more happy meals for him. Lol!

Lo Hei

Clarence celebrated his first CNY in his primary school. They watched a lion dance performance before going back to class for a potluck party. Parents were invited to join in but mummy needed to work so could not attend :(
Daddy went for a while and passed the camera to Clarence and he was happy taking pictures of his classmates.

Reunion dinner

Had our reunion dinner at Seafood International this year with my parents instead of mother in law cos she went abroad this year

Surprise

Mummy has been very busy with work this year so really have no time to blog. Another backdated post.
Vincy surprised us few weeks ago when we brought her to the pool to swim. Her last swim was at least 2 mths ago. She used to just sit on the stairs when we bring her to swim while waiting for her gor gor. But that day, she was not terrified of the water anymore.

She ventured into the pool all by herself!

Vincy's 2nd haircut

We went out for breakfast 2 weeks ago at Harbourfront Centre. Meimei wanted to bring her doll out.

Decided to let meimei cut hair with daddy at EC house that day. When we reached there, I was surprised to see a train seat for kids.

Another surprise: after the hairdresser trim Vincy's hair, she gave her a sweet and slotted a coin into the train and the train started moving. I thought it was just a dummy and did not expect it to move. Wow, $10 for a haircut with sweet and kiddie ride, I think it is really value for money.
