Post Christmas Gathering

We went to Uncle Terence's house for a post Christmas potluck session. Thanks Uncle Terence for letting us mess up his home again. The children had so much fun playing in the big garden and pond.

Vincy and Agnes together! Agnes is 1 month older than Vincy but look at her, she is so much bigger than my girl! My girl looks under-nourished! A lot of catching up to do for Vincy.
为什么人家的孩子白白胖胖,我的却黑黑痩痩?Haha!

Catch the kids in action!

While everyone has finished their lunch and were playing, my slow Clarence was still struggling with his food! Eats so slowly each time.

Look at the beautiful fish in the Wongs' pond

Naughty children trying to catch the fish in the pond. Poor fish, so stressed out by these monkeys!

The children played in the hot afternoon sun and they never seemed tired. The only way to get them back into the house was to ask them to open their presents. Once they heard open presents, they all came in immediately.

After the Chuas and Phuas left, Clarence and Francis were still playing toys upstairs.

Time to go home! Asked Clarence to help to carry mei mei's bumbo chair and this was how he carried it!

Fidgets

We went with the Chuas and Phuas to check out Fidgets, recommended by my boss's boss.

It was not crowded today and the place was huge for children to run and play. There was also a cafe for parents and children to rest and recharge energy.

The indoor playground has lots of slides, think a total of 5 if I'm not wrong.
Mummy got a "blue black" on my right knee when I came down the longest slide in the playground with Clarence. (The slides are fast and fun, all tested by mummy and clarence!)

Mummy and Clarence enjoyed all the climbing and sliding while boss and Vincy enjoyed their date with Uncle Zhou (周公)

After we got home, mummy and clarence's batteries went flat and we had a long afternoon nap.

Jacob Ballas Children's Garden

We went to Jacob Ballas Children's Garden on Christmas Day. We actually wanted to visit the place last year, but somehow we were just too busy. Finally got chance to go today. The weather was good today, not hot at all, very suitable for park going.

Our first stop: the sand pit

Next stop: Crossing a shaky bridge

Next stop: The tree house
Clarence has been looking forward to going to the tree house as his favourite show now is Tarzan. He even told me he wanted to wear underwear and stayed with the animals like Tarzan.

My boy could climb up the web to the top of the tree house all by himself! Well done!

Next stop: Photosynthesis process

Next stop: water play
As we did not bring swimwear for Clarence, so he went into the water play area in his underwear. I am impressed with the park as they even provide watering cans for children to play with.

Last stop: Tree climbing
This was Clarence's first attempt at tree climbing. As expected, he did not know how to climb and boss got to do a demo. However, Clarence still lacked the strength and courage to climb higher. However, he says he will know how to climb when he is 5 yrs old. Full of excuses.

Poor Vincy missing out all the fun

After a busy morning in the park, we went to Holland Village for our lunch before returning home.

Christmas Eve 2008

The children and I went to boss's office to pick him up after work and took pictures with the 2 christmas trees in the office building. Clarence has been complaining about boss not putting up the christmas tree in our home cos we used to have christmas tree every year. This year, boss was lazy so did not set up the tree.
Therefore, he told Clarence the christmas tree in the office building was set up by him (what a big liar) to pacify Clarence.
After that, we went to Vivo for late lunch and dinner before we made our way home. No party this year.

Clips

Mei mei's hair is so messy. Mummy got lots of clips from Auntie Candy the other day, so mummy decided to try to clip her hair. However, becos her hair keeps standing up, I have no choice but to keep adding clips to pin her hair down.
Result: Use up all the clips and mei mei looks like a mad girl with so many clips on her tiny head. But she still look cute and pretty in her mummy's eyes.

I miss Clarence!

We went to my mum's place on Sunday and Clarence had so much fun there with his cousin Dubery Kor kor. Look at the 2 clowns, all ready for Christmas.

He enjoyed himself there and wanted to stay for the night. I asked him how many days he wanted to stay and he told me 5! I called him several times yesterday cos the house seemed so quiet without him. I miss him so much! The cheeky boy will be back tonight.
Just called him and he told me he miss daddy, mummy, mei mei, gem and jewel and his toys. So sweet!

Cookie craze

The cookie craze is finally over. We have finished decorating and eating all the cookie I have ordered. So sad! No more cookies for Clarence and mummy!
Now we can only look at the pictures of the cookies we have decorated.

Dancing king!

The Dancing King is in action again. He will just shake to the music. Think it is in him.
His moves are more coordinated this round. No more awkward Kung Fu steps!

Maybe I should send him to dancing class. Hee hee!

Kid's Kampong

Clarence has been pestering us to bring him to Kid's Kampong for quite some time. We went there yesterday and saw a great dane outside the Pet shop. The dog is really big!

We let Clarence try out Long Kang Fishing. This is his time at it.

Long Kang Fishing:
I thought it would be easy to catch the fish from the long kang but I was wrong. I went in with him and found that it was not easy at all. I only managed to catch 2 fish. Boss took pictures and laughed at my clumsiness but when it was his turn, he then realised how difficult it was.

Watch the silly daddy devising his strategy and teaching his son how to catch the fish:

Daddy attempted another sillier act later. He discreetly threw food into the long kang and told his son when the fish come for the food, we can catch the fish. Guess what happened, no fish fell for his food trick. Not even one swam to get the food. Failed!

Later, Clarence dragged me away from the long kang and told me to go to the other side, telling me there are bigger fish there to catch.
Know where he brought me to? The Koi pond! Faint!!! Took me some time to explain to him the Koi fish are not for catching. Should I say he is innocent, silly or bright???

In the end, boss also managed to catch 2 fish. So we caught 4 fish altogether. The stall owner was very kind and gave us more fish to bring home.

What we caught and what we brought home after uncle scoop more fish into our bucket!

Clarence tried very hard but he only managed to catch 1 dead fish!

Feeding Station:
Feeding or torturing the Koi?

Having his water and ice-cream after the session.

Any idea why is Clarence in his underwear when we are going back?

Because he fell into the long kang and got his pants wet!
Hard to believe but this is his second time in 2 days. He fell into the Suntec pond on Sat while attempting to feed the Koi fish there. FAINT!!!

Sob sob baby!

A tiring Saturday

After swimming class on Saturday, we stayed in Suntec till 2 plus in the afternoon before we proceed to my mother in law's place. Then we chiong to T3 for early dinner . We tried our best to spend $50 for dinner so that Clarence can get into the Candy house and take the train in T3.

After sending the children to bed, boss and I surfed the internet, have supper and catch a late-night movie (screened at home). In the end, we went to bed at 3 plus in the morning. What a tiring Saturday!

ZOO Trip 19/12/08

We went to the zoo with the Chuas and Phuas again after the last disappointing trip. Boss purposely took a day off so that we could go on a weekday. (Thank you so much!)

Our first and last stop: Rainforest Kidzworld

Clarence and Sarah sliding down!

My brave son did the flying fox for more than 10 times.

The Dino Walk (Clarence was so happy to see the dinosaurs)

Vincy sitting comfortably in her bumbo chair during the tram ride.

Home sweet home!
Mummy took time off and went for facial after the zoo trip. Felt so refreshed after the facial and shoulder massage!
