Twins

My brother-in-law's 2 little princess,

They are so lovely. Vincy simply adores them. She kept wanting to touch them. She even wanted to carry them when she saw us doing so.

Carrying the newborn gave me the sudden urge to be a mother again!

But the proposal was quickly banned by my dear.

On second thoughts, I dun think I want to go through the first few months of vomiting and giddiness again. And we dun think we can handle a 3rd one.

New swim class

Clarence started his new swim class today. We withdrew him from Aqua Ducks 2 weeks ago. The new swimming class has a small playground for kids to play.

The coach is fit and tan so mummy jokingly told the daddies they can go and hide themselves in the shelter.

The macho coach called them the 3 musketeers.

His comment when Clarence swam free-style: I thought Ryan (another classmate) was bad, Clarence was .......

Mummy helped him fill in the blank "Worst".

Hopefully Clarence can improve on his strokes with the new swim coach.

After the swim class, I asked Clarence if he like the coach. He told me yes. The lesson was more "siong" as compared with Aqua Ducks but he likes the new coach more than the previous one.

Vicny also went for a dip in the children pool while waiting for Gor gor to finish his lesson.

After showering, I gave Vincy my sunglasses to wear. Can tell from the picture the sunglasses was apparently too big for her.

P1 Registration

Mummy picked Clarence from his childcare to go for his P1 registration. Paranoid mummy has been checking the internet for date and time and the relevant documents that I need to bring for his registration. Was glad that everything was done today. He got a place in Catholic High (thanks to daddy joining the alumni).

I was a bit shocked when I reached there and realised I have to prepare the photocopied documents before I could submit the form. I was directed to the bookshop to make photocopies. In my previous school, we actually put a copier in the registration area and the teachers will help the parents to photocopy FOC during registration. That's why I did not bother to make photocopies.

So a word of reminder to all parents going for P1 registration, better photocopy all the documents before you go.

Vincy and Mimi

My brother bought a puppy named Mimi.

Bitten

Poor Vincy was bitten by a classmate in her childcare centre today. According to the teacher, Vincy did not cry after being bitten. The classmate bite her because she (I assume) wanted the same materials as Vincy and Vincy refused to give her.
The bite left a mark on her left arm, mummy felt so heart pain to see the teeth mark.
Did not know the identity of the classmate who bite her cos the teacher refused to tell me and Vincy did not know how to tell me too.
So I just told the teacher to be more vigilant and not to allow the same accident to happen again.

Dance

We were eating Ramen in the restaurant yesterday night and Vincy started dancing, or should I say shaking to the music. So cute!

Sleepover

We invited Clarence's classmate and also his best friend Dylan to sleepover at our place yesterday night. Both of them were thrilled and excited by the idea. We met up at T3 for dinner and some arcade fun before we brought Dylan home with us.

Both of them woke up early this morning to play toys before we sent Dylan back home for his swim class.
Clarence joined Dylan for swimming after his class. Vincy also had fun in the wadding pool.

Speech and Drama

Today was Clarence's school speech and drama performance. They performed Wizard of Oz and Clarence acted as a guard in the play.

Great effort from the teachers and kids.
However, the kiasu mummy could not help but wonder why Clarence got such a minor role? Was he too naughty in class? Was it because he was not good enough? Was he really that bad? Was it because his teacher did not like him?
A lot of whys in my brain but no answers.
Think I am too competitive, I should relax.
Most important thing should be: Clarence enjoyed acting in the play with his classmates and he felt proud. I felt proud of him too.

Action

After sitting on it for so long, mummy finally put my plan into action and send Clarence to his first piano class today. Took a picture of Clarence while waiting for the teacher.

It is a one to one, half an hour session. I left him with the teacher and went to childcare centre to pick Vincy. When I went back to pick him, the piano teacher praised him for being a good boy. He concentrated throughout the lesson and the piano teacher was surprised that he was patient and could sit through the whole lesson.

Although today was his first day of lesson, he already brought homework back.

Clarence told me he enjoyed his piano lesson. He also showed me what he learnt today.

After dinner, he told me he wanted to do his piano class homework and he went and do them all by himself. I am glad that he is so enthusiastic.

He finished all his piano homework today. Yeah! Will get a keyboard for him to practice this weekend.
