He can read

After listening to Auntie Mun Chin's recommendation, mummy bought these 2 books for Clarence. To my surprise, he can read the 2 books by himself with minimal help from me initially. He can read the books all by himself now. He felt proud and more confident about himself after reading the books. So I will be getting more of the books from the same series to get him started. Daddy and mummy felt so proud of him. A good start for him as the book uses repetitive key words to help children to recognise the words on sight.

More clips

Yes, the shopaholic mummy is back in action. Bought some new clips for Vincy.
Nowadays, Vincy will stay still when I clip her hair.
After I put a clip on her hair today, she went into my walk-in-wardrobe and looked into the mirror and smiled.

Steamboat

As Vincy was not feeling well today, we stayed at home for the whole day. My boss suggested we had steamboat for dinner ( we just bought the induction cooker yesterday) and he went marketing and prepared everything. This is our first time having steamboat at home. This is also my boss's first time preparing steamboat.

Ice skating

We went ice skating with Clarence's classmates in MMI during one of the weekday night. The 3 of them has been taking inline skating class every week so we decided to let them try out ice skating.

Clarence went right into the skating rink without using the ice skating support aid. Very garang! He fell a few times and managed to move around the rink in no time.

Race Pack

We were supposedly the lucky 8000 balloted ones to collect the SCSM race pack earlier at The float@Marina Bay instead of Expo. We were so excited cos we thought we can go up to the floating platform. But it was such a disappointment, the collection point was actually at the building not the platform itself. And there was nothing special in the race pack for the early birds.

@ Central

We went to Central last Sat to have our favourite Ramen, followed by the Hokkaido durian flavour ice-cream. Yummy!
While we were busy enjoying our ice-cream, my little monkey meimei started to climb up and down a bench.

Wipe

Vincy likes to wipe. Whenever she gets tissue or wipes, she will start wiping the floor, table or chair. Think all toddlers will go through this phase. I remember Clarence went through it too. Happy Wiping, my meimei!

Astro Boy

We caught Astro Boy movie last weekend so we decided to bring Clarence to watch Astro boy live performance at Liang Court. It turned out to be a great disappointment. Astro Boy and his sister only came out for a song and the rest were Q and A cum game session. Unless u are a really huge fan of Astro Boy or you are really very free, you can give this a miss.

Clarence volunteered for the Q and A session but was not chosen. Surprising, he knew the answer to the question after watching the movie once. How I wish his super memory applies to his school work too.

As we did not spend $50, Clarence could not go up for the meet and greet cum photo taking session. So we asked him to stand up and just take a picture. Hee!

He was disappointed when he could only take a picture with the Astro Boy standee. Nevertheless, he still posed for the picture.

Bouncy bounce

We went to T3 to check out the huge bouncing castle. Only took a picture of the really big ball. cos we did not have time to wait for the ball to open up.

The kids had lots of fun with this funny or should I say mad daddy who jumped around with them.

The scaredy cat Vincy who cling on tightly to mummy and daddy while we were in the bouncing castle. She only dared to come down and sit before we were leaving.

1 round was not enough for Clarence so he went for round 2 with Francis. This picture of Francis is so cute, the "bo gay" Francis.

The place is fun and we will definitely go again and again. But need to go during less crowded hour.

Miss Muscle

Meet Miss Muscle:

The 2 arm floats on her looked like huge muscles. This was the first time she put on the arm floats. She wore the arm floats in her new toga style like swimsuit. A bad thing about the swimsuit: It sometimes reveals her nipple, is it too loose or there is something wrong with the cutting?

Finally

My lazy gal is finally willing to hold her own milk bottle and feed herself. I have been trying to get her to do that for quite some time but she always refused. She prefers me to hold her bottle while her hands are free to play with her toes or the pillows.Last night, she finally did it by herself. She did it this morning too. Another small step towards independence for Vincy, which means she is more ready for childcare when mummy returns to work in Jan. The thought of her going to childcare makes me sad.Will miss her so much!

Flowers

I love Clarence's last week art piece. This painting is different from the rest he has done. He used the painting brush to dot the colours on it without any sketching done beforehand. So the whole painting was done in patches of dots. Very unique to me!
