Skating Backwards

Clarence learnt how to skate backwards last week. So he is better than boss now cos boss doesn't know how to skate backwards yet.

Dunk

Last week was mummy's turn to swim with the kids.

Boss was recording us when he caught me dunking Vincy. Both Vincy and boss got a shock! Hee!

Ryan's painting party

We were invited to Ryan's 5th birthday party. It was a painting party in West Coast Plaza.
My little angel, all dressed up for the party.

Clarence chose a dinosaur template and started painting.

The children's work after touch-up by the art teacher. Really made a lot of difference before and after touch up. All their work became so nice after the outline done by the teacher.

Clarence's piece of work: They attached a hook to the dinosaur for us to hang keys or other light items.

Little wolverine

Saw this wolverine claws in Toys R Us. Boss gave in to Clarence and bought it for him. The claws will shoot out once you fling your arms and there is also the clawing sound when you swing the claws up and down. It was rather fun and the whole family had a go pretending to be wolverine.

Free play coupons

My little artist's piece of work for art lesson last sat. He drew spider, bee and bug. Dun ask me why the bee is upside down, I am clueless about it too.

We got $20 free coupon for Clarence to take the kiddy train ride and play in the bouncing castle. Every $50 spent in the mall can exchanged for a booklet of $10 coupon.

Kiss

Vincy just kissed Ah mah and Ah gong the other day. Ah mah was so happy when Vincy kissed her. Managed to get mei mei to kiss her gor gor on video.

Crawling and Running

After dinner in T3 on Friday, Clarence wanted to play catch with daddy. So we went to the unopened area in the departure hall to play. We let Vincy join in the fun by letting her roam freely on the carpeted area. She was so happy crawling after her gor gor and daddy.

We watched too much 奖门人, so trying Daddy asked Clarence to try out one of the games inside. He is supposed to bend down, turn 5 rounds then get up and run.

My one tooth monster

This one tooth monster is going to be 9 mths old soon but she still only has 1 pathetic tooth. Why do I call her monster? Cos she puts whatever she can grab into her mouth.

Dog and Bone

Clarence played a new game in his skating class yesterday. It was Dog and bone. My cute boy did not really understand the game. He just knew that when his number was called, he must go and grab the cone and come back. But he did not understand that if the opposition touched him after he got the cone, he will lose.
So whenever his number was called, he would go and grab the cone although mummy, coach and his teammates kept telling him not to take the cone (but his scheming opposition team will ask him to take).

Mother's Day outing

We went for Dim Sum with the Wongs in the morning cos our zoo plan was postponed owing to the rain. After that, we went to East Coast Park with the Chuas, Phuas and Wongs in the afternoon.

Ummm, looking at the picture, boss seemed to have forgotten how to set up the tent. Ha ha ha!

Never mind, try again!

Finally set up the tent. The children sat happily in the tent:

Boss went kite flying again as it was very windy that day. Our goldfish finally managed to soar in the blue sky.

Clarence wrote his name on the beach:

It all started from harmless playing on the beach.

Then the kids got more adventurous and went closer to the sea to let the waves splash on their feet.

Then they decided to go for a splash in the sea! And got themselves all wet!

As we were not prepared for Clarence's wet program, we did not bring any extra clothes. So Clarence went home in Uncle's Steven enormous T-shirt and his boots.

Oops, must do some censoring before putting this picture up. Sorry son, mummy will remember to bring extra set of clothes for you next time!

Before leaving the park, I saw Sarah in his dad's T-shirt (another unprepared one). So made the 2 kids took a picture for remembrance.

Both of them looked so cute in their big T-shirt.

Clarence and boots

Mummy bought a pair of boots for Clarence.

As you can see, he loves his pair of boots. He has been wearing the pair of boots everywhere (disregarding location and occasion) and telling all his friends he has a pair of boots. He says he will wear the boots everyday and he wore it to school today.

He was so happy the other day when it was raining. He wanted to jump on puddles with his boots.

My mother's day gift

Clarence's art lesson this week was still life drawing of flowers for mother's day. This was the set up of flowers and vase that he was supposed to draw.

And this was what he drew:

Completely different from the vase of flowers. I can make out the vase and 2 flowers. The rest of the patches were ghosts and monsters (according to the artist). His classmate even asked him if he was sure his mummy will like monsters. Well. it's the thought that counts!
This was the card I got from him. It was made in school. I asked him if he decorated the cover of the card and his answer was no. Very honest boy.

He told me he wrote and drew all the things inside the card.

As for Vincy, her mother's day gift to me was being able to call mama. Although she still did not know exactly what mama meant, it is still so nice to hear her say mama. (Clarence said papa first)

Wolverine

We went to watch X-men origins: Wolverine. This was Vincy's 2nd movie. She went in and slept for about an hour but was constantly awaken by the loud fighting sound from the movie.

This was the movie standup for Friday the 13th.

Clarence said this show was scary and he did not want to watch. Really 胆小鬼！

Kite Flying

The Tays, Chuas and Wongs went to Pasir Ris Park to fly kite on Sunday. However, there was no wind that day so boss's $12.90 goldfish kite did not work wonders and fly up in the air despite many tries by all the daddies.

Since kite flying failed, we engaged in other activities. Boss went inline skating with Clarence. To be exact, boss skated and pulled Clarence along.

My dangerous girl

My 8 mth old strong girl attempted an acrobat act today, She tried to climb up the ladder to Clarence's bed. I was in my room and the children were in the other room. Clarence dashed in and shouted for me to go to his room to see Vincy. This was what I saw when I reached the room:

My god, she was already on the the 2nd step of the ladder. She pulled again and she was on the 3rd step.

Then She held on to the mattress for support to help her get up the bed. But she was stopped by me.

This gal is so strong and dangerous!

Our Sumptuous dinner

We went for a sumptuous and expensive dinner at Shang Palace on Saturday. Food was really yummy!
First dish: Peking duck ($40) Mummy's favourite.

Clarence loved the Peking duck's skin. He ate many pieces of it.

Second dish: Sharks fin soup with crab roe. Mummy's all time favourite.($42)

Third dish: Soon Hock Fish ($96). Ordered this for Clarence.

Fourth dish was the duck meat fried with black pepper, delicious is the word to describe cos the duck meat was soft after frying, not hard at all.

Fifth dish: Fried rice with crabmeat

Damage: $297 plus but we paid $253 plus after a 15% discount. Thanks to Uncle BP (boss's company for sponsoring $200)
