Vincy's Show and tell

Vincy's childcare center has been asking them to prepare show and tell topics quite frequently although they are only in K1 (early preparation for Primary 1). One of her topic was "My Favourite Person". Initially she told me she is going to talk about Mummy being her favourite person. So sweet!
But on 22nd of July, when I asked her to practice her show and tell, the favourite person became her classmate, Alexander.
Imagine my disappointment upon hearing it......I am not her favourite person? How can it be?
However, mummy managed to make her change her favourite person to me again during her actual show and tell session in school. haha!

She wanted to be like her gor gor and she insisted on writing a script for her show and tell despite us telling her that it was unnecessary since hers will be rather short.
The funny part: this was the script that she was holding on to while doing her show and tell in the video. I really burst out laughing when I looked at her script. Couldn't make out what she was trying to write and made me wonder how she read from it. Lol!

Cupping at home

We had a cupping set at home and we sometimes will try to do cupping by ourselves. The other day, daddy asked Vincy to help him with cupping and my little girl cupped herself too.

 

Wallet

Mummy bought a new wallet for Daddy and our little Vincy happily took the old wallet. We gave her some expired cards and she was delighted.

She played with it for a few days then passed the old wallet to her brother.

Jacob Ballas Children's Garden

Brought the kids to Jacob Ballas Children's Garden on a Sunday in late July. This was our second time there. We actually wanted to bring them there to play with their scooters. However to our dismay, scooters are allowed in there. So we just took a walk in the garden.

Little rocker

Clarence is preparing for his grade 2 rock school electric guitar exam next year. He will be skipping the grade 1 exam as recommended by his teacher. He has just finished learning his first piece titled "Cranked". Need to prepare 2 more pieces.

Surprisingly, he is willing to go for the rock school (electric guitar) exam when his teacher asked him to cos he refused to go for guitar ABRSM exam previously when he was learning the guitar. Anyway he has stopped learning guitar few months ago cos his interest is still in electric guitar.
