Sentosa Holiday- Our hotel

Checked in at Festive Hotel.

Room is average but I like the sofa bed that the hotel provides. The presence of the sofa bed lets us have a good sleep. We no longer need to squeeze on the same bed. The kids can sleep on the sofa bed and I can have the whole king-sized bed to myself!

Sentosa Holiday- Universal Studio

We went for a 3 days 2 nights holiday in Sentosa during the March holidays. We spent day 1 in Universal Studio. It was raining heavily in the morning and my heart sank when I woke up. However, the rain stopped when we reached Universal Studio. The weather was kind to us on that day. The moment we entered the theme park, my children went to get the map by themselves.

Far Far Away: Shrek 4-D Adventure: Vincy was a bit scared of the show when the seats began shaking. She did not like it when the donkey sneezed and her face got wet. On the other hand, Clarence enjoyed the show tremendously although it was his second time watching it. He had been to Universal Studio with my brother's family a few months ago.

We took the very slow magic potion spin after the show. Pose for pictures:

The Lost World:

Had our lunch there before we queued up for about 40 mins for the Dino-Soarin ride. Meimei was very brave, we flew the dino high while scaredy cat gor gor refused to let daddy press the button to fly high.

Then we went to catch the show WaterWorld. It was a bit too loud for Vincy, I had to cover her ears. The dare to get wet father and son sitting in front.

We went for the Accelator ride in Sci-Fi City. Clarence was scared when the cup started spinning quickly but he was ok after a while. Meimei was too young to be scared.

We also took the Treasure Hunters ride in Ancient Egypt.

Vincy did not like to take pictures with the characters. She was terrified of them.

We had our dinner before we called it a day and return to our hotel room with yummy popcorn bought outside Universal Studio.

Although the park was not very big, we did not manage to cover all the rides due to the long waiting time. So that gives us the a good reason to go there again next time!

My bonus

Mummy will be getting my performance bonus in March. So I decided to get gifts for the kids. They were allowed to choose what they want. Both of them asked for toys.
Clarence chose Ben 10 toys:

Vincy told me she wanted Barbie doll. So I got her a Barbie doll and a Barbie doll house. This is her first Barbie toy.

I had a great time fixing the house and playing Barbie with her.

My kids were so happy to receive the presents.

A bad fall

We went to Clara's birthday party on 5 Mar. Hard time getting all the kids to sit still and pose.

Everything went well until Clarence rushed down from the stairs in the garden and told us Vincy was up in the garden.
Daddy ran there immediately. Meimei had a bad fall up in the garden.

This garang gal followed the gors gors, went up the stairs to the garden and fell but she did not cry at all.

Clarence saw her fall and asked Isaac to help to look after his meimei while he came down and ask for help. Isaac blocked the stairs so that meimei could not come down by herself. The smart Gor gors!

When Vincy went to school, the teachers asked her what happen to her face, she told the teachers she fell cos mummy did not look after her.

Picnic

Clarence and Vincy decided to have a picnic at home in Clarence's room this morning. They laid a blanket on the floor as a mat and put some pretend food and had their picnic.

Vincy first doll house

Dylan's birthday

We attended Dylan and Kayley's birthday party 3 wks ago.

Skating medal

Clarence passed his skating test conducted by the school last mth and we went to collect the medal last week. Happy boy beaming with pride with his medal:

Swim Meet

Clarence took part in his school's swimming competition last mth. He took part in 2 events, 25m and 50m breaststroke. Daddy and mummy went down to show our support that day.
