Help or Bother?

My part time maid who used to come twice a week has left us. We are now without a maid. Imagine the tons of housework we have to do every week? My boss is now official cleaner at home. He has been dutifully vacuuming and mopping the floor for the past few weeks (thank u so much). We also have tons of clothes to fold, especially clothes worn by the kids.
I used the magic clean mop to clean the floor last night and I got 2 eager volunteers who wanted to help.

They are actually more of a bother than a help. They refused to let me use the mop and they fight among themselves for the mop.

Snatching and fighting for toys or any item is a common scene at home. It happens a few times a day. Sad part, it is going to get worst when meimei grows up. Faint!

Morning at Fidgets

We spent the whole morning at Fidgets last sunday. Kids enjoyed themselves climbing up and down playing with the balls, cars and slides. Daddy and mummy took turns to eat breakfast and read newspapers.

Waiting for Vincy to be older so that we can really relax, sit down and enjoy breakfast and read newspaper together while they play independently. But she won't be as adorable as now when she grows up, what a dilemma!

A bad hair day

Vincy usually sleeps after her shower at night. So her hair will be slightly damp when she goes to bed. Hence most of the time when she wakes up in the morning, her hair will be very messy.
This was one of her worst hairstyle in the morning:

Clarence also goes to bed with his hair slightly damp but he looks ok when he wakes up every morning.

So we will put some conditioner on meimei's hair to weigh them down so that her hair looks more presentable when she goes out.

Easter

Crafts done by my prince and princess for Easter.
The styrofoam rabbit easter egg was done by Clarence and the real hard boiled egg was painted by Vincy.

Goggles

Vincy's first encounter with goggles:

Vincy and Lego

Vincy plays Lego in a different way.
She puts them on as bracelets instead of stacking them up.

Locked

Clarence did not want Vincy to get into his room to destroy the lego he has built so the "clever" boy locked the door from inside while he is outside. Faint!
To ensure he learned his lesson, mummy told him I could not open the door too. He had to try and open the door himself or else he would have to sleep in the living room with the dogs tonight.

Feeding Day

Last Sunday was feeding day for the Tays.
We went to feed the pony and had our breakfast there. Bad decision to have breakfast there cos the service was really really slow. Waiting for the food to be served and even paying the bill were extremely slow too. Vincy got very cranky during the wait and almost fell asleep.

Vincy loves to feed the pony. She refused to leave when we finished our feeding. A kind auntie gave her some more food for the horse. Mummy got to drag her away from the pony in the end. After the pony feed, we went to feed the fish. Clarence enjoyed himself tremendously touching the fishes while meimei was terrified of the fishes or the water? She screamed when I pulled her hand to touch the fishes.

Bottle

Clarence drew a bottle. I like this a lot. This is one of his better pieces that I like for the past few weeks.

Foot massage

Mummy went for my usual foot reflexlogy session in Suntec while Clarence was having his art lesson.
