Together

They started showering together 2 week ago. Gor gor finds it fun to shower with mei mei. Mummy tried out once and found it tiring to shower both of them at the same time. I prefer to shower them one at a time. So my boss will shower them together every night before putting them to bed (unless he is late from work).

Mr Dracula

Clarence was very disappointed today cos the K2 got a Halloween party in school but as he is in K1, he could not join the party. So mummy had to pacify him at home by letting him pretend he is a Dracula. Tools for the conversion: blood and Dracula teeth (bought something ago)

Clarence also requested me to show the pictures to his teacher on Monday.

Pox free

Vincy went to have her chickenpox vaccine yesterday. So that means she will be pox free (hopefully). Yeah!
Her statistics at 14 mths:
9.8 kg and 77cm. Still in the 50th percentile.

Night

Clarence was still busy with his painting when I went to pick him up. Painting the background blue cos the theme was night.

Pink stars, yellow moon, white clouds, owl on the tree, rocket shooting up in the sky, beside the rocket is a bird, wonder how come there's a sun at night? flower and a purple stray cat. Weird combination of things.

Fish

Clarence made a fish.

He cut out the fish shape and colour it blue. The little circle dots were cut by the teacher and pasted by Clarence.

Supposed to do double side, but due to time constraint, the other side was coloured but without the scales, only managed to stick the eye.

Dozing off

Go, Going and Gone!

Tired baby, exhausted after her swim in the morning. She just slept on the high chair. She did not wake up even when I carry her and transfer her into the stroller and later on into the car seat.

Feeding

Fortunately there is no real food, cannot imagine the mess they would create if there is.

Packed

Last last Sunday was packed with activities for us. We went to Downtown East's Subway for breakfast first.
Vincy at Subway waiting for us to finish our meal.

Then we went to meet Uncle Leon and family for bowling to kill time before we went to watch a movie together.

Clarence bowling style was quite pro except the last action. Watch! Seems like he is using his concentration skills to get the pins down. Hee hee!

Vincy surprised everybody by requesting and allowing Uncle Leon to carry her. Maybe because Uncle Steven's not around. Ha!

The kids were tired after a game so we took them to Mini bowl for another game while the 2 men continued.

After bowling, we went to watch "Cloudy with a chance of meatballs". Vincy decided to make boss life easier, she slept for an hour on boss chest during the movie.
After the show, the kids wanted to go to Explorer Kid so we brought them in.

I climbed with Vincy in the playscape and ended with a bad headache when we reached home. Too old for such play! Hence mummy, Clarence and Vincy all slept early that night cos we were all exhausted.

Elephant

Clarence drew an elephant. A fat elephant with small ears.
He initially wanted to draw himself sitting on the elephant, like our Phuket trip. But he gave up cos there was not enough space so he drew himself (the pink figure) beside the elephant instead.

Horror

We went to Toys R Us to try out the Halloween masks just for fun. We always try to scare our kids every time this year. Ha ha!

We have a new target this year. Watch how frightened my poor meimei was when she saw her daddy in a Halloween mask.

Foot reflexology

We went for our usual foot reflexology session while Clarence went for art. We tried doing it together and it turned out disastrous. Because Vincy got cranky and started to toss and turn and cry. After a few minutes of crying, she then fell asleep on Daddy's chest.

Felt so embarrassed for disturbing other patrons. So we will not do our foot reflexology together when meimei is around. Must take turns.

Pram

We bought a new toy pram for Vincy's baby toy. Since she is still light, I put her in the other night and Gor gor had fun pushing her around the house. She likes to be in the toy pram. Big question: Then why doesn't she stay in her stroller when we are out?

Go green

Making a lantern with recycled materials. The body is a plastic bottle and the legs are twisted newspaper.

I thought he was making a giraffe but he told me it was a spider.
There were 8 legs so it must be a spider but the colours looked giraffe to me. Asked him why his spider was yellow with orange spots, he told me he liked the colours. Well, I can just say he is very creative.

Lost and Found

My boss frantically woke me up this morning. He told me Jewel was missing. We looked for her in the whole house but to no avail. Boss ran outside and looked for her in our block from 18 to 1st floor and around our estate.
We drove round our neighbourhood to look for Jewel.
After an hour of searching, we headed home tired and sad. We lost the dog. We had no idea when she left the house. We felt so guilty for not taking good care of her and not even realising when she was lost.
While we were entering the lift, I saw a piece of paper sticking on the notice board. On it wrote somebody found a missing dog yesterday, colours matched Jewel's but it was a different breed. However, we decided to try our luck and called the number. Guess what, it was Jewel they found. She has been with them since yesterday afternoon till this morning. We were so happy to see Jewel again. She was delighted to see us too.
Jewel must have crept out yesterday afternoon after I fetched Clarence from school.


Really want to express our thanks to our kind hearted neighbour downstairs for finding Jewel and keeping her safe for the night.

Kung Fu

Clarence brought his lantern and went to school in his traditional costume to celebrate Mid Autumn Festival. They switched off the lights and carried their lanterns in class.

Piang!

I taught meimei a new game. Shoot her and she will pretend she is being shot! She picked this up few weeks ago.
While we were waiting for our food to arrive, I demonstrated this game to her a few times and she knew how to do it. Only managed to catch it on video yesterday after many fruitless attempts over the weeks.
My boss likes to play this game with her and insists this is his game. So shameless!

Lesson @ Science Park

Due to the F1 race, swimming class has been relocated to Science Park. We went for lesson cum make-up there. The pool was small and not many turned up. So we got more value for money. 1 coach to 3 students.

There is a small playground near the pool. Meimei played in the playground before getting wet. This little girl enjoyed climbing in the playground.
